We respect your privacy. We don't actively collect anything about you whatsoever. You have to e-mail us before we know anything about you. We do nothing that can identify you personally, or identify your machine. However we will have a fair idea of where your ISP is, within a hundred miles or so, but we don't know who you are.
We do not try to download any form of software to your machine. We don't use pop-ups. However this site may use cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is written to, and read from your computer. By itself a cookie cannot harm you or your computer. Cookies are used to track visitors activity and suggest ways of improving the site to enhance each visitors experience.
While we do not own or control the machines that host this site, this should not concern you. A host can only log the name of your browser, browser version, your IP address, screen size, which pages you have visited and when. This stuff shouldn't worry you. The host does make the logs available to us and we use them for statistically tracking the number of visitors, detecting errors, improving the site, and making it more responsive to search queries.
The logs are less informative and less accurate than is suggested by the previous paragraphs. Most requests are served from caches on your machine, or on your local ISP's computers, or on the host's servers. This means that most of the time what you are doing is not even logged by our servers.
This site does use scripts in conjunction with selecting which ads to display and getting the current weather, assuming we are still linking to a weather service. The scripts will not affect your machine in anyway.
